Yep. Don't you think a-d differences might be
factoring in too? There are three good set-ups:
the 772 pre/phan, the MixPre pre/phan and the
pb224 phan and 900 pre. The first two use 772
a-d obviously (at 24 bits I might add). The $200
recorder is doing the third. Surprisingly. I'm
noticing it in the lower in tone character which
is very promising. I ran around with the NT1A_2A
M-S yesterday through the pb224 and it was
sounding fanstastic with certain things including
interior room tone. Rob D.
