Though Fowler's toads are encouraged to call by rain here in Georgia, they call plenty at other times. I've recorded them numerous times in all kinds of weather. I've not heard any since getting back from my trip, but I've not been out since then as I have lots of tasks around home to catch up. They should be calling as it's the middle of their season, but don't normally call right in the vicinity of my house.
