Nature Sounds Society Tech Talk, Saturday, May 14, 2005 10 AM - 2 PM The annual NSS Tech Talk will be hosted by Dan Dugan at his San Francisco laboratory. The talk will provide basic information about equipment and sound recording; recordists at all levels are welcome to attend. Topics include audio and signal flow, microphone selection, proper microphone usage, and how to avoid common mistakes in recording. Hands-on equipment demonstration and usage will be available. This session is excellent preparation for the Annual Field Recording workshop in June. Call NSS for space information (510) 238-7482.
