Thanks, Jim Hinton Hi Jim, I use a portable MD with mic input. At home I put the disc in my stationary MD player/recorder, and connect its digital out to the digital in of my soundcard. That way the signal stays digital. I also happen to use my stationary MD player/recorder as an high quality outboard DAC, so I got two machines for the price of one.
