I have another sound I need identifying. These two horribly noisy clips were made at the north end of Brightwater Marsh (about 30km south of Saskatoon). There was a strong south wind blowing directly in my face and I didn't do a good job of trying to shield the microphone. I am standing on the shore of the marsh and in front of me is an area of waterlogged fresh grass and old reeds which would not provide cover for a bird of any size. These strange chirps and croaks are apparently coming from the grass and reeds. Can someone ID them for me? http://members.shaw.ca/digipete/6-clip.mp3 http://members.shaw.ca/digipete/7-clip.mp3 Thanks Pete Saskatoon, SK, Canada ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
