SonicStage was allowing two NH900->PC transfers before deleting the
file from the 1GB HiMD disc last night. I need to test this some
more. It might be a difference between the old MD discs (formatted
HiMD of course) and the new 1GB's. Once transferred, the
non-converted and converted files can be accessed until deleted. So,
risk is lower than I thot. I should see if SoundStage will allow the
unconverted files in its library to be saved to CD-r/DVD-R media.
This would be really efficient for backing-up (HiMD) SP recordings.
Can one do this with a portadisc's transfer feature? Rob D.
