The free MDA plugin "image", which is what I use for M/S has a L/R>M/S.
I don't know if that will help to get there, but I do know it converts
regular M/S back quite well.

The same plugin also has S/M>L/R for folks that just recorded the two
mics to the wrong channel, but did not matrix them. I've definitely been
caught having to use that a few times.
