They're the same.  The 7506 has a gold plated plug and adapter,
and Real Documentation (i.e. an exploded parts diagram with
part numbers).  I thought the V6 had been discontinued.  I have
a pair of each.  They're quite bright; great for editing and
hearing fine detail that flatter/mellower 'phones and speakers
won't reveal.
