Subject: [Nature Recordists] always more mysteries

A while ago some group members clarified the croaking voice in
this snippet as the Hooded Merganser. Thanks again: this
group is a precious resource. Now I'm curious about a couple
other sounds in the same recording. I know the trill single note
is the Varied Thrush; the kerplunks are trout jumping; but what
about the 3 or 4 note song that sounds something like " I'm so
hap-py". There is also a whinnying sound - might it be a robin?
Any takers?
