If you like the idea behind Sony's CF to Hi-MD gadget, then check out the Addonics MFR DVD writer.=20 The MFR reads 10 different flash card formats; writes up to 4.7GB of data to DVDs in four formats (+R/RW, -R/RW); uses USB 2.0 to connect to PC or Mac; and has a battery pack that lasts about 2.5 hours. The device, including battery, measures 8 x 6 x 1.5 inches and weighs 1.5 lb. The MFR can span discs if there's not enough room to fit the entire file on the disc in the machine. The MFR can play back audio cds and MP3 files directly. Don't know for sure about WAV files. Price is about $325. DVD-R discs cost about $1 each these days.
