Dear Nature Recordists,

I want to compile recordings of birdsongs of India for publishing the same.=
The recordings are mono and were made maily using Telinga Pro 2 Mic and So=
ny DAt D 100. Based on the suggestion from this group I have transferred th=
e recordings to PC using Roland UA 30 interface. The total species covered =
could be more than 600, and there are several subspecies involved. I need y=
our valuable suggestion on the following.

1. What will be suitable software for editing? I want to do minimum editing=
keeping the sound as original as possible.I already have Cooledit LE, whic=
h does not have sufficient editing functions.

2. What shall be the suitable format for publishing such a large compilatio=
n?=20=20=20
