We use the 40, 50 and 60, as well as different mic brands, for
different purposes. However, for the best stereo imaging of the lot,
(lowest noise, best spread, signal discrimination) it's the MKH 30/40
combo, hands down, for us. And you get many more options, as well. As
I say in my new book, "five for one."
