This is the drive Apple uses in its iPod Mini.  The drive is not yet 
available in a removeable package (such as Compactflash or PC Card) 
so it has to be permanently installed.

Toshiba's tech page indicates that the new drive can survive a shock 
of 1,000G while operating.  This is up from about 300G for the 1.8 
inch and 2.5 inch drives used in laptops and camera MicroDrives.  So 
maybe there will be a role for this drive in field recording.
