If you are looking for a sound reference for European birds, then get
the latest version of J. C. Roch=E9 "Sound Guide to Birds of Europe and
Maghreb". It is a very well structured 10 CD box (much better than the
previous version, that was made up of 4 CDs only. It follows the
classification of the "Guide de l'Ornitho" published by Delachaux &
Niestl=E9.
The accompanying booklet is a bit weak, with French, English and Latin
names only. However, the CDs can be used efficiently with the above
mentioned book.
The CD box is undoubtedly an excellent resource for birdwatchers.
