Still here...I'm finding that moving into my new home is taking up
more time than expected...haven't taken the AT 815b shotgun out of
its case to capture the numerous white plumed honeyeaters in the
back yard. And, Vicki, those spiny cheeked are everywhere as well.
I've done no bird recording. However, I have discovered that the
PMD222 has a jack (?jill) which accepts a modular phone plug. I've
taken to recording phone conversations with my 85 year old parents
using that facility on the PMD222.
I think it is illegal to record phone conversations in
Australia ...but I did tell my parents what I was doing.
Having their happy, wise, and contented voices on tape will be one
of the better results of my having joined 'naturerecordists'
I doubt that anyone would argue against the notion that recording
one's aged parents is very much a part of recording one's
own 'nature'
Cheers
Greg
