Sound Ideas pays you by the hour of sound used then uses only tiny
fragments of your sounds in quick sound bites resulting in very little
reimbursement to the recordist.

Subject: [Nature Recordists] opportunity for ALL OF US
Greetings All
Here's the deal: Sound Ideas (the leader in sound-library publishing)
has
asked my studio to provide new sound effects libraries they can take to
market for the games & film industries (where I do most of my work) We
have
a few products already in the works, but I think between some of the
senior
members of our group we could easily compile a truly amazing "nature"
series
and split the earnings equally based on individual contribution levels.
WHOEVER IS INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING PROFESSIONAL QUALITY CONTENT TO
THIS
PROJECT, please contact me privately to discuss the possibilities and we
will go from there. Chakrasound would serve as the "hub" for
engineering
the content and for handling the business end of the product(s)
Apologies if
this sort if thing strays a bit from our typical group dialog, but this
only
takes a few of us putting our heads together to create a very special
project.
As far as I know, this would be the first sound library of its kind - A
collection of audio compiled independently by a group of international
audio
personnel belonging to a Yahoo Internet group ... that's just cool.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Cheers
