Doug is right, this is a nature recordists group and should be kept this
way, I would love to be able to talk the occasional environmental issue
such as the recent topic of West Nile, I love the perspective that Walt,
Pete and everyone else puts in but unfortunately we can't continue
because of the nature of this group and what it was intended to be.
Therefore I propose that all members who wish to discuss further
environmental issues move into a separate group devoted to these issues
and keep this group in the manner it was set up,
I believe that many of us are nature lovers and can help in many ways
through ideas and discussions and keep our recording activities strictly
to this group.
I am willing to start this off and have set up such a group as of now
but I am also willing to join anyone who would also consider starting
such a group. If anyone is interested go to
