Subject: [Nature Recordists] sounds for dutch cdrom on trees

Why not ask:

Hi,

I'm working on a cdrom on (about) trees in the Netherlands. I work at a
treefoudation as webmaster and systemcontroller but this year I'm
working on this cdrom.

Now I tried to make some recordings earlier this year but I spend to
much time on making pictures and movies. In this time of year it is no
use anymore making recording because bird do not sing anymore. Out of
season. So I went to the zoo to do some recordings, and some of it I
can use if I morph acoustics a bit.

I am about to ask you if you can help me sharing some of your sounds. I
don't want to use sounds like from the Solitude CD's because these are
a bit overproduced. Sounds I need are really background fill ins. I
don't need clear sounds of a specific bird, cat or.. frog... What I do
need is: an open field sound, a forest, a park, with or without traffic
or people doesn't even matter to much, if just the nature of the spot
is reconisable.

The Treefoundation ( de Bomenstichting ) www.bomenstichting.nl ( i do
the website) is a nonprofit organisation. So our butgets are limited.

Now I ask: Can someone help me on some sounds? The don't have to be
long either. I can remix them in QuickTime so a loop will not be
reconisable.

Thanks for any help.
