In July, I launched the non-commercial www.richardsfault.com to showcase sonic abuse from inconsiderate neighbors. Everything is explained on the site in the WHY and FAQ sections, incuding the origins of the site's name. An offshoot of this project has been a collection of natural sounds in the RELAXING category as heard from the bayou area behing my Houston-area home. The STRANGE catgory also contains some natural and semi-natural sounds, such as coyotes and cats. The ANNOYING category contains unnatural sounds that pollute the soundscape. Complete technical details are given in the HOW section. There are no popup adds, spyware, etc. I am very interested in link exchanges with similar sites. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ |
