Hi Walt I enjoyed your biting remarks about Canadian and Georgian mosquitos.Generally speaking the little bugs (some not so little) are not bad till mid to late June. If you are looking for frogs and toads they start calling here on the west coast in February and can be heard across the rest of the country in April , May and June. If you have the opportunity, head north a little earlier in the year.
