Interesting comments by Kevin and others about the lack of birds in Arizona and the drought. There is an article in the Canadian Geographic May/June 2003 about the drought in southeastern Alberta and the 90% loss of bird numbers. The writers speculate about Global Warming or the Natural Cyclic rythmn of the earth. I have a fantasy to record in the southwestern desert sometime but maybe I'm too late?
