Sennheiser :-(

And there I was, thinking Sennheiser was a reliable company making good
mics.

My Sennheiser shotgun (MKH 815) seems to have suffered appreciable loss of
sensitivity and I thought to have it checked out. Sadly, the Australian
distributors tell me that Sennheiser no longer supports that model.

And it's only about thirty years old! :-)

Thank goodness* I've got a Telinga and reflector, which for my main purpose
- lyrebirds at a distance - is even better than the shotgun was when
functional.

Syd Curtis (not really serious) in Brisbane, Australia.
