Let me repeat my note about pro-quality mics with consumer-grade minidisc equipment: The impedance of the pro mic output is typically much lower than the minidisc input.=20 The mis-match can be reduced by using the Shure A96F cable (<$50).=20 The result is extra gain in your recording, so you don't have to crank up the minidisc pre-amp to record a strong signal.
