match that impedance

Subject: match that impedance

Let me repeat my note about pro-quality mics with consumer-grade
minidisc equipment: The impedance of the pro mic output is typically
much lower than the minidisc input.=20

The mis-match can be reduced by using the Shure A96F cable (<$50).=20
The result is extra gain in your recording, so you don't have to
crank up the minidisc pre-amp to record a strong signal. Result:=20
Better quality recordings.

Evert, give this a try before spending $300-$500 on a separate pre-
amp.
