Parabola mic's g

Good morning Group,
  I have been using my Senn. ME-64 for use with my Telinga parabola.
It has occured to me that perhaps I could be better served by
using, say, the Telinga EM-23 instead as a "parabolic microphone".
  Perhaps some of my learned group can guide me, Thank you all.
