On top of Walt' answer, I would say that it is very difficult to make it
better. Remember, that for every gain you do (sensitivity, noise etc) you
have to pay for it somewhere else.
I would guess that on this priority list, Sennheiser has choosen reliabilit=
y
and low-noise, and sacrified the polar diagram.
