may have a cheaper workaround available to you than the C03.  The chief 
difference between the AES and SPDIF outputs on the D10 is voltage...the AES 
is higher than the SPDIF.  And most SPDIF inputs will tolerate the higher 
voltage. Get yourself a female XLR to male RCA cable to adapt the AES cable 
to a coaxial SPDIF input.  A lot of equipment will interpret the AES digital 
signal OK into their SPDIF inputs.
