The Mawson Koel is making his presence felt. Been calling for about 8 days now but hasn’t reached my GBS area yet.

Cheers

Many thanks Mark, yours is now the 10th suburb from which I am aware they have been reported this season so far.  After hearing one in the very distance yesterday morning, I was able to confirm one calling briefly but clearly in Rivett this morning.  Regards  Jack Holland

Afternoon all,

I have just been told that some of my birding colleagues had a Pacific Koel calling very close to their Evatt house this morning. Won’ t be long now before all the complaints start about “that bloody noisy bird”!!!!
