I was at Hughes Oval this morning and saw a male RRP drop down into a fenced off area around the ACT government depot, presumably to feast on some weed seeds. However, no-sooner had it landed than it was swooped by a Noisy Miner. It took off and headed
at top speed towards the chain--link fence. About a cm away it deftly turned 180 degrees and flew off in the other direction, but the larger Noisy Miner was forced to pull up abruptly and flopped over the top of the fence in a very inelegant way.
