Hi everyone, this is off track a bit (a lot) but I'm in Broken Hill this week and observed about 30 of these raptors doing not much but soaring above town all morning today. Hardly any squabbles or diving. Apologies for the picture quality - hopefully the bird
shape is visible enough to help someone identify these for me please? If it helps, the weather is quite warm today, and the soaring was at all levels high and low. These were mid-sized raptors, dark feathers with a lighter patch about midway down the wing
underneath.
