While we regularly see and hear a dozen or more Superb Parrots flying over or stopping off in parts of Higgins, over recent days we have both seen enormous flocks flying over from east to west.  A few days ago I saw a minimum of 36 Superbs.  This afternoon my husband saw the biggest flock he says he has ever seen, upwards of 40 birds.  Any thoughts on what might be going on?  Are they migrating?  Perhaps flying from Goorooyaroo or doing a smaller circuit from Kama?
