Not aiming to win any photo competitions here and maybe not all that helpful but this morning a casual observer might have thought there were 3 great egrets on a dead tree at Kellys with only one left a few minutes later.
In fact initially there were 3 Plumed that were dislodged by a single Great at about 0730. A point of interest was that one of the Plumed, the one with most remnant breast-plumes, also had remnant courtship bill colour with pale green skin extending from
base of bill to behind eye.
