Eastern Whipbird in suburbia?

That February recording on eBird is also mine (attached if anyone is interested). 

I assumed the February one might just be moving through, but perhaps it is the same bird that now seems to be a regular resident less than a km away to the north west...

Could this be any other species? If it is an Eastern Whipbird, I would be interested to hear about other people's observations of this species in suburbia.
