A few years ago a male Satin Bowerbird was making a similar call at Mossy Point
on the south coast - managed to track the bird down to confirm, continued to
hear it for a few days, but haven't heard it again since.

Subject: Call identification ...
Greetings. A friend made this recording at the coast recently, and is keen to
have its ID. I can't recognise it.
With thanks - David
