I have been fortunate over the last three days to have a Boobook roosting during the day in one of the bushes in my garden. Currawongs and Blackbirds are well aware of its presence but the Owl must feel safe enough to remain.

Last night, sitting quietly in the lounge with doors open after a warm day, I heard a Boobook for the first time for several years. When I went outside to try and track it down it had stopped calling. This email and any files transmitted with it may contain confidential information.
