Hi Damien,
This is possibly a scam. I responded to the original email and am awaiting a response from the student. I will send you my response to the student by separate email.

Hi Canberra birders,

Thanks to the few people who've reached out to Rhiana about nest locations. We've got a handful of new nests, but there must be many more out there! If you know of a new or old white-winged nest (especially in a reserve), please reach out to Rhiana.

Thanks!
Damien

Dear all,

An honours student (Rhiana Woods) in my group is seeking information on the location of any known white-winged chough nests (especially those in reserves!). These can be both current/new nests but also old nests (and older nesting locations) would be invaluable. Please see her message below, and pass on the information directly to her via her email (below).

I am an honours student at the ANU who is just starting my fieldwork investigating nest-building in white winged choughs. I am seeking any information on the location of nests – including old ones – or recent observations of nest-building behaviours. My primary focus is to find as many (old and new) nests as possible across the Canberra region, and especially nests where people can share information about the recent history of the nest(s) being used by groups You can reach me via email: m("anu.edu.au","u7483720");" id="LPlnk198967" href="">  Thanks in advance!
