Good morning subscribers, I’ve had another report of one at Mt Majura on 24 July, but different as it was yellow with no white.
Has anyone else been seeing one? There certainly wasn’t any
in the at least 115 we saw at the NE corner of Narrabundah Hill yesterday morning.

Subject: [Canberrabirds] leucistic cockatoo
Whilst out searching for some white-fronted chat out at Denman Prospect, a kafuffle brewed above. To our amazement, we (Zach Flegg and myself) were privileged to observe a gorgeous
leucistic Yellow-tailed black cockatoo flying within a flock of a dozen or so birds. It however had to deal with being harassed by an Australian raven.
We also were pleased to spend time with a duo of Yellow-billed spoonbill at Kelly's Swamp (Jerra Wetlands) not long after the fog dispersed. As well as a Great egret having a successful
fishing breakfast.
