 Hi all,

After a long internal struggle I’ve decided to sell my trusty Swarovski ATS-80
HD.

It’s an incredible piece of gear that I’ve owned for many years. The optics are
top notch as are the construction and design. It comes with a 20-60x eyepiece,
which I’ve found excellent for everything from watching Painted Snipe at
Kelly’s Swamp to picking out distant waders at Werribee. The eyepiece is
interchangeable; Swarovski also make a 25-50x eyepiece that fits this model.

The glass is flawless, and the scope itself in near-new condition: the armour
is clean, the hood slides nicely, and the focus and zoom wheels are smooth and
free of grit. It has accumulated some scuffs on the underside of the foot from
attaching a tripod plate.

It’s taken a while to convince myself to part with it, but I’ve moved to a
smaller, more compact scope that better suits my needs and this one is now
surplus to requirements.

Happy to send photos through to anybody who’s interested, I’ve forgone
attaching them here as I recall the chatline has a very small filesize limit.

This model/eyepiece combination is still in production and available from
Bintel for $4660. I’d be happy to see this one go for $2500.

Cheers,
Julian Teh
