field trips July to December 2025

I could co-lead a trip in early August somewhere along the river - maybe at Kambah Pool (assuming we are allowed to walk along Red Rocks Gorge as the falcons might be nesting) or Uriarra Road - there are a couple of places that Kim Farley took us to last year. If a very experienced member is happy to come too.

Many thanks to those who have volunteered to lead trips in the second half of the year, including those who have offered 2 and even 4 trips!! I still have 7 gaps in the programme. You would have seen in the most recent Gang-gang a list of possible destinations or, as I have said many times, I am always keen to hear about new destinations.

The following dates are still available:

Winter - best suited to a half day outing within or close to Canberra

• July 6 and 20 
  

• August 3 and 31

Spring and summer - perhaps somewhere further afield, like Namadgi

• Sep 14
• Dec 7 and 14

I would like to finalise the programme within the next week, so if you can help, please contact me asap.
