Hi Geoffrey,
Ages ago you asked whether anyone uses Birdata in the ACT.
Yes! I have hundreds of 20 min surveys in there, and there are other observers.
It's such an easy site to use and to explore. Great that people can now do standardised surveys if they use ebird.
My preferred type of survey is an "embedded" survey ie. two in one - 20 minutes in an approx 2ha site, and also sightings out of the area, or before and after. (I think that's only possible on the website, not on the app).
