A Sulphur-crested Cockatoo was hanging upside down from the end of a branch of a dead poplar tree in Curyin in light rain this morning, flapping its wings and squawking, Suddenly the branch, two metres long, broke off and fell down. The Cockatoo let go,
and flew off squawking in surprise.
