A week or so ago Geoffrey Dabb posted a photo of a (colour) banded Black Swan. I forwarded the photo to the bander and received a reply stating that he was still interested in receiving any reports of banded swans if the band details can be recorded. If you
do see, or better still photograph, a banded swan could you please note any band details, the date and locality and send them to me and I will pass them on to the bander. I can't guarantee that you will get information on when and where it was originally
banded but will endeavour to get the information for you.
If you can't remember my details, then I am sure the Hon Secretary of COG/Canberra Birds will be happy to pass them on to me.
