The edge of the Apostlebird's range is further west (they begin at Jindalee National Park, beyond Harden, afaik), but I don't see why a bird separated from its group couldn't go wandering and end up at the Tracking Station. It's not going to
starve at this time of year. Not really likely to meet up with other Apostlebirds though.
