Good afternoon and Happy New Year to our members

The field trip programme for the first half of the year is now complete with the exception of 22 June.  Many thanks to the people who have volunteered to lead one or more trips.  Without them, our interesting and varied range of trips would not be possible.

The first Wednesday walk of the year is this Wednesday evening 8 January at Mulligans Flat NR, and regular weekend outings begin on Sunday 19 January. Details of January and February trips are on the web.  You must register in advance. Do not leave it until the last minute as there are often limits on numbers due to the nature of the trail or parking issues.

In March, we are running two one-day pelagics out of Eden (details are on the web). If you are interested, please contact me by next Monday 13 January. If you have not had a chance to see albatrosses, petrels, shearwaters up close, this is a marvellous opportunity.
