Some people used to make their own Christmas cards.  Here is one way. 1. Take a wide-angle picture of Shoveler Pool during  the flooding of Sept 2022 and crop to a wide narrow landscape scene.  2. Vertically expand to show more pool (makes hills more interesting, somewhat Andean).  3.  Add birds photographed in the area taking care not to add too many.  There are 3 species here, that people can tick if they want.  4.  Add something christmassy.  5.  To the whole, apply an off-the-shelf visual effect, nothing too outlandish, here ‘Bloom’.  6.  Add text, if desired.
