Hi John
Yes, indeed. Spotted Crake is a northern hemisphere beastie. One of our local birders accidentally chose Spotted Crake rather than Australian Spotted Crake - but has now amended their list. I have sent other two folk an email asking them to update their Checklists. This will happen in due course I am sure.
