ACT Parks and Conservation Service

 Sections of Canberra Nature Park will be closed to the public for visitor safety from 9 June to 1 August 2024 during kangaroo management operations.

The following reserves will be closed from 6:00pm to 6:00am Sunday to Thursday:

 Mt Ainslie Nature Reserve

 Mt Majura Nature Reserve

 Mulanggari Grasslands

 Red Hill Nature Reserve

 Gungaderra Grasslands

 Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve

 Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve

Reserves are closed as late as possible and opened as early as possible for minimal disruption to the community.

The ACT Government understands the closures may impact regular early-dawn users and we appreciate your patience over the closure period. Kangaroo management is vital for the wellbeing of the environment, and the many plants and animals that call our reserves
 home. Regular access will resume once operations conclude.
