Good morning,

It was both a lovely and exciting week, with both a sighting of a female pink robin at The Pinnacle NR and 23 (probably more) crescent honeyeaters out at Tidbinbilla.  The robin was observed as a single bird amongst the stringybark woodlands while the crescents were identified as a noisy feeding flock amongst both tall eucalypts and banksia.  Though busy, they were notably less fussed by the presence of other birds than were the also present New Hollands.

Please note the copious pollen slammed across the face of the crescent honeyeater.  Consequence of hungering for sweet sweet nectar.

Cheers, Ben
