Hard to know but my guess, based as much on where you found it and the general shape and materials, is it is most likely to be of a Common Blackbird. About
Has it been predated? Well, are those whitish bits eggshells? It is now mid March, It could be that this nest was finished with, months ago.

We found this hidden in the thick vine on the fence. Has it been predated? I saw a raven hanging around this area.
