Birders platform Birdingplaces is coming to Australia

Birdingplaces.com is the big hit among birders in Europe. A user-friendly and free platform where you can find and share birdwatching areas. Less than 4 years after launch, birders already described an amazing 6500 birding areas in detail! Every area has a detailed description, map and birdlist. New areas are added daily. Birdingplaces is free for all users and made by and for birders. The website is non-commercial and aimed to stimulate the protection of birds and their habitats by connecting more people to birdwatching. Birdingplaces also encourages all users to become to support their national BirdLife partner.

Birdingplaces has recently activated the map of Australia. Birders can now add and describe their favourite birding spots in Australia. Because we just started up in Australia only 70 locations are listed yet on www.Birdingplaces.com. So you have lots of chances to add your favourite area to the map. Great if you share your knowledge with other birders and add your favourite areas to Birdingplaces. In this way you help building a free online site guide and a valuable resource for Australian birders. It's easy to add an area: just click on 'Add a birdingplace'  on the homepage and you can start.  # EnjoyAndProtect!
