Channel-billed Cuckoo?

Very probably you did hear a Channel bill. This season they are being reported into eBird at least once a week - mostly in the north parts of Canberra. As a rare species for the ACT, eBird reports of the species need to be documented before they can be confirmed but nearly all have been confirmed.
